Lymphatic Drainage

Detoxify, Reduce Swelling, Promote Wellness

Experience the precision of the Dr. Vodder Method of Manual Lymphatic Drainage—an internationally recognized, medically-supported technique designed to isolate and direct lymphatic flow with exceptional accuracy.

This method uses a light skin-stretching approach to manual therapy that stimulates the body’s natural detoxification process to reduce swelling and inflammation, and restore balance and overall wellness.

At Elysian Rose, Manual Lymphatic Drainage is provided as clinically-informed care consistent with standards used in hospital and medical settings, delivered within a calm, private therapeutic environment.

Sessions follow lymphatic pathways and a detailed understanding of lymphatic anatomy. Rooted in the clinically-validated Dr. Vodder Method, this approach differs from body contouring techniques often marketed as “lymphatic massage.” These body contouring techniques are adaptations to Swedish/deep tissue massage, they lack clinical-backing and do not effectively isolate, drain, and reroute lymph.

At Elysian Rose, our treatments grounded in medical accuracy and applied within a restorative, one-on-one setting appropriate for clinical lymphatic care.

Lymphatic Drainage Add-Ons

Gua Sha

A natural therapy based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Gua Sha stimulates circulation, alleviates musculoskeletal tension/pain, and can be used to stimulate specific acupressure points, depending on your individual needs.

Cupping

Cupping stimulates circulation, the flow of qi, and may relieve muscle tension. Cupping also helps decompress fascia, also known as connective tissue, thus easing tension and associated discomfort.

All add-ons include warming of the tissue with moderate pressure and final effleurage to integrate the work. These sessions are best booked as add-ons to manual lymphatic drainage sessions.

If cost is a barrier to receiving bodywork treatment, limited trade opportunities may be available if the arrangement is mutually beneficial. Contact us to learn more.
